The real gun BRN-180 Gen2 is a modern reinterpretation of the AR-180 designed by ArmaLite in the 1960s, and is a semi-automatic rifle jointly developed by Brownells, PWS (Primary Weapons Systems) and FM Products. While inheriting the short-stroke gas piston system of the AR-18/AR-180, it adopts the latest manufacturing techniques and materials to achieve excellent reliability and durability.
The biggest feature of this model is its unique design that does not require a buffer tube while being compatible with the standard lower receiver of the AR-15. This allows the installation of a folding stock, allowing shooting even with the stock folded. In addition, the gas block is adjustable and can be set to the optimal gas pressure even when using a suppressor.
The upper receiver and handguard are CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard-coat anodized. The barrel is made of 4150 carbon steel and has high wear resistance due to nitride treatment. The chamber is .223 Wylde, is compatible with both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition, and has a twist rate of 1:8. The muzzle is threaded with 1/2"-28 and is fitted with an AR-180-style 3-prong flash hider. Available
in .223 Wylde, .300 Blackout, and 7.62x39mm calibers, with barrel lengths ranging from 10.5" to 18.5". Flexible configurations are possible according to purpose and style. In addition, the handguard is designed to be easily removed, making it easy to access the gas system and easy to maintain.
The BRN-180 Gen2 is an evolution of the AR-15 platform, combining high modularity, reliability, and operability to meet the needs of modern shooting.
